Hardwarezone vs VR-Zone

Was looking at Hitwise and realised that Hardwarezone is one of the top local website in Singapore. This website has had the same design and using the same CMS engine for the past 8 years! I do think VR-Zone is better although some may question it’s originality.

A lot of people go to Singapore Exchange, Zao Bao too, more than they do to AsiaOne and Channel NewsAsia which is not surprising because Singapore is predominantly Chinese.

DBS seems to be the most popular online bank in Singapore. I used UOB website before which seem to be designed by webmonkeys.

What surprises me is that Streetdirectory.com is back to be the most popular map service website in Singapore despite having a lot of competitors of late. They have been offline for a few months due to their legal troubles. I prefer streetdb.com or gothere.sg though but looking at Alexa, it would be quite some time before they can catch up on Streetdirectory.com.

PHP or HTML filename?

Even if you intend to do a non-PHP file, it is best that you call your files PHP instead of HTML because later on, when you might want to put php script into it, you can do it without having to rename your files. Which can affect your SEO rankings greatly.
